This video shows Randy Travis getting arrested on charges of public intoxication. It’s not the most exciting video in the world, but it’s always good to see celebrities taken down a peg or two.
Travis was found asleep at the wheel of his car in the car park of a church. In his hand was an open bottle of wine. He claims he had been celebrating the Super Bowl.
Travis seems amazed that the arresting police officer doesn’t know who he is, and even more amazed they would dare arrest him. It’s the classic, “Don’t you know who I am?!”
To be honest I wouldn’t recognize Travis if I bumped into him, especially if he was drunk and not exactly looking his usual self. He’s only a country singer after all, and not a very good one at that.
