This is the IGN video review for Red Faction: Armageddon. I’ll cut to the chase and reveal it gets a 7.0/10, not great, but not bad either.
The major problem with Red Faction: Armageddon to my mind is that it’s all looking a little samey and unoriginal at this point. We’re on Mars again, we can blow shit up again, yadda, yadda, yadda.
Then again, the same can be said for the Call of Duty games which get a new installment each year, and the similarity between the annual titles doesn’t seem to have lessened the fans’ relish for those games.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just not for me. The first two Red Faction games on the PS2 were great because they were something different. On the PS3 there is more fun to be had from other titles.
