You’ve gotta love a good soundboard prank. They’re very juvenile, yet there’s something hilarious about making phone calls to people using a celebrity’s voice. This prank featuring the voice of Richard Simmons is a classic.
The prankster calls a very redneck-sounding guy and tells him that he is his daughter. Simple concept, and it gets the guy all riled up. If he could have reached through the phone, poor Richard wouldn’t have stood a chance.
Clips like these make me wish soundboards had been around when I was younger. But I guess it’s a good thing they weren’t. I would have gotten myself into all sorts of trouble, and the telephone company would have probably come after me.
