During the PBS Republican Debates, Ron Paul spoke of ending the Drug War. As he so wisely says, “Prohibition didn’t work and prohibition on drugs hasn’t worked either.”
I’ve never been a big fan of republicans, but this Ron Paul guy has got me intrigued. He is the first presidential candidate who actually makes logical sense…and doesn’t sound like a complete dumbass when speaking.
Maybe I’m being sucked in by clever speech-writing, but my gut says that’s not so. Ron Paul seems like a stand-up guy who really just wants to do his best for the USA. I certainly hope I’m right, and he’s not a jackass who will fuck us over if elected.
