This video shows Rooney Mara being interviewed, before she underwent the makeover required for The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo.
Rooney Mara has previously appeared in a few films, including Youth in Revolt with Michael Cera, the A Nightmare on Elm Street reboot, and last year’s mega-hit The Social Network.
However, her career is about to be cranked up another notch as she’s playing Lisbeth Salander in the Hollywood version of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, the first of Stieg Larsson’s trilogy.
To play this part Mara has had to undergo an extreme makeover, having her hair cut short, her ears pierced, and tattoos done. And she looks very different from how she did previously.
If her commitment to the role is anything to go by then The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo will be a massive hit.
