It’s happened to all of us at one time or another. You go to the theater to watch a new movie, only to get halfway through and need to pee. You get back from the toilet only to be told you’ve missed the best or most important part of the movie.
When I go to the cinema, which is often, I always buy one of those bucket-sized cups of coke and sit there supping on it throughout. Until nature inevitably calls, and I have to try and choose my moment to go to the toilet. I usually choose badly.
But this need no longer be the case for anyone who owns an Apple iPhone. You can get an app for pretty much anything these days, and yes, there is now even one which tells you the best time to go to the bathroom during a movie.
It’s called Run Pee Mobile, and this is a video review of the app. The only problem I can see with it is that it means leaving your phone on throughout the movie, which is likely to annoy everyone else in the cinema.
So you have a choice: get beaten up by people in your aisle for your phone ringing, or miss a few minutes of cinematic wonder. It’s a tricky decision.
