Jon Stewart’s tenure as host of The Daily Show has come to an end, as the political satirist with a keen eye for a story makes way for Trevor Noah.

Jon Stewart will be missed by liberals and those keen on seeing politicians and corporations taken down a peg or two. Conservatives will be pleased to the back of this thorn in their side.
It remains to be seen whether South African comedian Trevor Noah can fill Stewart’s sizable shoes as host of The Daily Show. We should at least give him a chance to prove himself.
