What are you doing for New Year’s? You’re probably either going out, braving the crowds, excessive charges, and lack of cabs, having a party, or staying in and being a miserable git.
If you’re going to a party then I really hope yours is better than this one, which shows the dangers of being a wholly uncool geek. If you are the company nerd then maybe let other people throw a bash.
I must admit to being one of the grumpy ones at New Year. I get the point of it all, ending one year and welcoming in a new one, but is it only me that views the whole thing as a complete washout?
I build myself up to New Year’s Eve, making resolutions and trying to invoke the spirit of Christmas once more. But then midnight comes and I’m either in bed or too drunk to really give a crap.
