Florida may sound like the perfect holiday destination, but there are some downsides. Such as the baking hot weather which never lets up. The local inhabitants. And the sharks swimming close into shore.
These tourists taking a casual paddle in the sea in Destin, Florida, come very close to being shark food, as a huge hammerhead swims up the beach.
It’s not actually interested in the humans, instead chasing a stingray into shallow waters where it can make an easy kill. But still, this was too close for comfort.
If this had been me I wouldn’t have entered the sea again on that holiday or any holiday thereafter. In fact, just watching the video is enough to put me off.
