We’ve all seen in movies, time and time again, where someone shattered a wine glass just by high pitch singing or yelling. We even saw it in one of the Harry Potter films when the fat lady in the painting at Gryffindor tower tried, but failed.
So, can you really break a glass by singing in a truly high and annoying pitch? According to this video, yes, it can be done.
All you need is some good lungs, the right tone and a lot of patience, and voila, you’ll break some glass. I did notice that the guy in the video placed something in the wine glass, but I’m not 100% sure what the heck it is.
Any insight? Regardless, looks like he got to break the glass and have some glass chards for dinner. Now that sounds appetizing.
