Shawshank Redemption is an absolutely classic movie. I’ve watched it several times already, and could happily watch it several more without getting bored.
However, this YouTuber has found a way of making Shawshank Redemption even more watchable. And it’s all thanks to the old Pokemon games.
This video shows Shawshank Redemption as it would have looked as a Pokemon game from yesteryear. Complete with 8-bit graphics and sound, dialog boxes, and inventory management.
The one problem with this whole thing is that I now want to play the retro Shawshank Redemption game. But sadly, such a thing doesn’t exist.
