Comcast is widely regarded as one of the worst companies in America, actually winning the accolade from The Consumerist for being The Absolute Worst in 2014.
This video may demonstrate why this is the case. It certainly won’t make you sign up for Comcast in a hurry.
The video shows tech journalist Ryan Block trying to cancel his Comcast account over the phone. The customer service rep is polite and courteous throughout, but unfortunately he won’t let Block go without a fight.
You shouldn’t need to explain why you’re leaving a company before they’ll let you go. It is your right as a consumer to switch services at a moment’s notice.
Therefore, this makes Comcast look bad. Really bad.
