The New York Times has published an explosive report that claims Donald Trump has paid virtually no taxes in the last 15 years.
The publication reports that Trump only paid $750 in personal income tax in 2016 and 2017, and didn’t pay pay a penny in 10 of the last 15 years.
Seeing as one of the main reasons Trump got elected as president was his supposed business skills, this is a rather important turn of events.
If Trump did pay this little in taxes then it suggests that either his businesses aren’t doing well or that there’s something amiss. Either way, this could severely hamper his chances of getting re-elected.
