I was at the movies yesterday and I’m glad that we didn’t see the Dark Night. Those in the Colorado movie theater were suddenly fired on and (as of now) 14 are dead due to the shooting.
This is an interview with Jessica Ghawi’s brother, who was one of the victims.
As her brother states in this video, while the majority of the media is focusing on the shooter, there needs to be more attention for the victims. Some that were holding on last night are now tragically dead for merely wanting to watch a movie at the wrong place and time.
What was crazy to me was the fact that Jessica was at a mall where someone shot and killed two people just weeks ago in Toronto, Canada.
