This is a promo trailer for Better Call Saul, a new spin-off show starring some of the secondary characters from Breaking Bad.
Better Call Saul is being shown on AMC on Sunday nights in the United States, and on Netflix in the UK.
This is very much a prequel to Breaking Bad, showing how the character of Saul Goodman, Walter White’s attorney in that beloved series, came to be the man we know and love.
Better Call Saul is blessed by being written by Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould, who also worked on Breaking Bad. Which should help it appeal to fans of the previous series.
That may also be the curse of Better Call Saul though, as it will be impenetrable to anyone who hasn’t previously watched Breaking Bad in its entirety.
