In case you haven’t heard by no, Brazil beat Germany 7-1 in the first of the two semi-finals of the 2014 World Cup. That wasn’t part of the script, but it happened. Boy, did it happen.
This video shows a couple of Americans trying to get their heads around what they just witnessed.
What we all witnessed was a masterclass in football, as Germany ran Brazil rampant in front of their home crowd. The European team scored five goals within the first 25 minutes and it was effectively all over.
Brazil will take time to lick their wound but probably come back stronger than ever. Germany will probably now go onto win the final, because they’re clearly the best team at the tournament.
