There’s been a pleasing movement away from labelling people according to class over the last few decades. But it turns out there are still snobs around, determined to stick with their old-fashioned ways of thinking.
Katie Hopkins is one such snob, as evidenced in this video, in which she tries to argue that it’s right and proper to judge kids based purely on their first names.
The reactions of the presenters is priceless, and when it’s revealed that Hopkins named her own children Poppy, India, and Maximillian her whole stupid argument fell apart.
Either she actually believes this, in which case she’s a horrible human being, or she’s only saying it to gain publicity and notoriety, in which case she’s a horrible human being. Oh.
