Super Mario Bros. Theme Played With Hands Video | Manualists Must Have Sweaty Hands

32 sec read

What is the fascination with the Super Mario Bros. theme? I know it’s a great tune and all but do we really need hundreds of different versions being played on a variety of different instruments?

This video shows a manualist, basically someone who plays tunes with their hands, performing the Super Mario theme, and I must admit it’s quite impressive. But I can only imagine how sweaty his hands must be. Ugh.

In the past we’ve seen the theme being played on the Tesla Coils, which is pure awesomeness, a beat boxing flute attempt, and an original though ultimately flawed version using a combination of a remote-controlled car and some bottles.

I’m really not sure about this manualist thing. It’s clever and all but after about 30 seconds the sound really starts to grate on me. And I can’t get the thought of those sweaty palms out of my mind. Not good.
