There have been a lot of ‘Super Friends’ spoofs in shows like Family Guy and That 70’s Show, but this time it’s a web series that is entirely based off spoofing the Super Friends with a popular “cast” of celebrities.
Dedicated to selfishness and social ignorance, they are: The Superficial Friends!
The series is produced by the Camp Chaos team from Heavy.com and “stars” Lindsey Lohan, Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and the Olsen Twins. Every episode is dedicated to them fighting yet another celebrity with their celebrity superpowers. For example, Paris has the power to barf infinitely.
The Superficial Friends vs. Jessica Alba
This is one of many Superficial Friends episodes in which the gang teams up to fight Jessica Alba so Paris can beat her on the Maxim Hot 100 list. I found it hilarious that Lindsey’s voice is dubbed by a man.
