Martin Scorcese’s Taxi Driver is one of the most chilling films I’ve ever seen. But perhaps I wasn’t looking at it in the right way. This trailer downplays its darker moments and pitches it as a light-hearted rom-com.
Funnily enough, I don’t remember Robert De Niro’s Travis Bickle as being a sweet leading man. However add the right soundtrack and take the right footage and I might even find myself being swept off my feet.
This short film trailer is so expertly edited. I was shocked that its creator could find so many sweet moments in this cult movie classic!
