Most music videos are boring affairs, with the band performing while random stuff happens around them. Which makes the best music videos really stand out.
Such as this one, by The Academic.
This is the music video for “Bear Claws” by The Academic. It cleverly uses loops from Facebook Live, created due to the time delay between recording and broadcasting.
The effect is mesmerizing, and I hate to think how much planning had to go into making this. It may even put OK GO, a band known for innovative music videos, to shame.
While the music isn’t to my taste, the music video is good enough to watch over and over again.
