‘The End Of TechCrunch’ Music Video | Song A Day Jonathan Mann Covers Arrington Firing

If you missed the whole TechCrunch/AOL/Arianna Huffington/Michael Arrington/Editorial Independence debacle and want to know what went down then you could do a lot worse than watching this video.

Jonathan Mann is a singer/songwriter who has become something of a YouTube phenomenon after committing to writing and recording a new song every single day. And #993 is titled The End Of TechCrunch.

Mann covers it all: Arrington being a jerk, Huffington being smart but devious, what it must be like to work for AOL, and new editor Erick Schonfeld being a poor imitation of the site’s founder.

Mann has one hell of a talent. I’m not sure I could write such a great song with such great lyrics in a month, yet he does it day in, day out. And about the topics that matter, too.
