Wow. This is one movie trailer that appears to be splitting opinion. And I must admit that even I’m torn between whether the finished movie is going to be great or a pile of crap.
The Green Lantern is one comic book hero yet to have received the big-screen treatment. But that is about to change as Ryan Reynolds has donned the costume for this Martin Campbell-directed movie.
The trailer suggests this is a return to the Fantastic Four-style movie designed for teenage film-goers and families to watch. But haven’t we had enough of the cheesy, laugh-a-minute superhero movie? I thought The Dark Knight had changed all that.
The Green Lantern movie is scheduled to be released on April 8, 2011. And it could either suck or be a real gem.
