This video previews the new movie version of The Lone Ranger, which Disney is currently shooting.
Armie Hammer will play The Lone Ranger, while Johnny Depp will play his sidekick Tonto. If Depp’s other performances are anything to go by he’ll end up stealing the show.
The hype surrounding The Lone Ranger has already begun, with fans of the series and of Depp, getting rather excited at the publicity shots released from the start of production.
The Lone Ranger is now set to be released next year. Disney will be hoping for another Pirates of The Caribbean-style hit, while I’m just hoping this is a decent crack at reviving a legend.
