Peeple is a new app for iOS and Android due out later this year. it’s been described as Yelp for People as it lets you rate friends, family, and strangers for no apparent reason.
The inventors of Peeple suggest that this is totally appropriate, but others are keen to point out the many flaws with the concept.
This includes opening people, innocent people, up to bullying. Which could have serious implications if someone decided to harm themselves over the things being said about them on the app.
Hopefully Peeple will never actually see the light of day. There are strong rumors its development has been exaggerated anyway, and that this is nothing more than an idea on paper.
