A massive earthquake has hit off the coast of Japan, causing mayhem in Tokyo and other metropolitan areas. The 8.9 magnitude earthquake also created a huge tsunami which then hit the east coast of the country, destructing everything in its path.
The news footage of these natural events is truly scary stuff, much more frightening than anything Hollywood could imagine.
As always when something like this happens, it makes us all realize the awesome power of nature, and that we are really just insignificant little beings when confronted with natural disasters.
My heart goes out to everyone in Japan and the other parts of Asia who are likely to be affected by the aftermath of this earthquake and tsunami. Let’s hope the planet calms down for a while after this explosion of anger.
