Torrent Droid For Android Demo Video | Scan A DVD Barcode & Download The Torrent

Piracy is rife these days. The chances are, whether knowingly or otherwise, you have downloaded a copyrighted file at some point in the past. Be it music, television, movie, or software, everything is available on the Internet.

You don’t even have to be at home to download this stuff either. As this video demonstrates, you can be at the video store or in a shop, find a DVD you want to watch and have downloaded the torrent by the time you get home. Genius.

The application that makes this possible is Torrent Droid for Android. It enables you to take a photo of the barcode of the DVD you want to see, search for it on a torrent tracker such as The Pirate Bay, and then remotely download the file to your computer.

Something is going to have to give in this market. Piracy isn’t going away, mainly because most people don’t think it’s wrong. Until the copyright owners realize this and start to embrace these new distribution techniques, they’re going to have a big problem.
