This trumpet player absolutely owns the U.S. national anthem, hitting all the right notes before the football game between the San Francisco 49ers and Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.
The trumpeter in question is Jesse McGuire, and his performance was recorded by someone wearing a Google Glass headset.
If there is one thing Americans excel at it’s patriotism. Kids are brought up to believe their country is the best in the world, and blessed by God, no less, and they act accordingly.
Not being American, it’s hard to get caught up in this mindset, but this video even managed to generate some goosebumps on my own skin. Patriotism and musicianship at its finest.
