The Twilight movie finally opens in America this coming Friday (Nov. 21) although those of us outside of the States will have to wait a fair bit longer.

I must admit to never having heard of the Twilight book series by Stephanie Meyer until news of the film was revealed, but now it’s absolutely everywhere, and my girlfriend is currently hooked on the books.
Twilight tells the story of a male vampire who falls in love with a human girl. So, yes there are vampires and werewolves involved but at its heart is a soppy love story.
For that reason, I think I’ll give this a miss. It looks like being a chick flick, and one aimed at teenage girls at that, so maybe me being male and over 30 should leave well alone. I’ll just go and see Max Payne instead.
