Google knows how to make a compelling commercial advertising its many and varied products and services. But just occasionally it slips up, as is the case with this ad for Google Hangouts.
I’m not even sure it can be called a mistake because I’m sure the intended meaning is completely innocent. However, it looks to me as though this ad is somehow promoting threesomes.
Just look at the evidence: Some guy is planning a camping trip to the middle of nowhere with two hot women. And they all seem overly excited about the whole thing.
They’ll be sitting around the campfire drinking and making merry when one of the trio (the man) will suggest getting a little cosy inside the tent. Like the straight version of Brokeback Mountain.
