Do you remember cheesy Dutch pop group Vengaboys? No? Well, you’re the lucky ones. Unfortunately I do remember their unique brand of europop all too well.
Looking on Wikipedia, they are actually still going, although I haven’t heard anything from them in ten years. They did however have a few “hits” in the late nineties.
Boom Boom Boom Boom and We’re Going To Ibiza actually reached number one in the UK. Yes, I admit it, some Brits have very little musical taste, but what can you do.
So where are they now? Well former member Roy, he of the cowboy outfit, is now an air steward, and here is the video evidence. He’s probably more proud of what her does for a living these days than when he was a Vengaboy.
