Veterans Remember Pearl Harbor Video | 74 Years After Attack From Japanese Aircraft

22 sec read

On this day, December 7th, 74 years ago, Japan attacked the United States of America, with a fleet of aircraft launching a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor that morning.

This attack changed the course of the war, bringing the United States into World War II. They then helped defeat the Nazis before also beating Japan.

I’m pretty sure the Japanese regret making that fateful decision, as it eventually led to atomic bombs being dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Still, this day is special, commemorating the thousands of people killed on December 7th, 1941. Let’s just hope that governments around the world remember the lessons learned that day.
