Henry Rollins shares an awesome story about a guy with Asperger’s and shares some writing advice for men along the way.
This wasn’t the kind of video I was expecting in that, by the title, I thought he would just give some humorous writing advice. However, I like this story even more.
I have met an author with Asperger’s before, and when they have it right, they have it right. Just like any other writer, I suppose, but Rollins really gets it right.
As a writer, I know it’s hard to get past the ego, the fears and the dreams to just put the story on paper. ‘Get your dick out of the way’ may be crude, but it’s good advice.
