There are some sports where stupidity can bring all kinds of trouble, and some where the trouble is just hovering in the background, waiting to happen. When luck runs out, what can you do but wave goodbye and maybe revise your thoughts about God.
This incredibly lucky skydiver had no way to know that when the sudden stop came, he would live through it. He keeps his head together all 5,000 feet to the ground.
Given how close the lake was, he probably cursed his luck when he realised it was going to be solid ground he hit. Then maybe cursed some more when he saw the blackberry bushes.
