We all know the positive side of having so many choices available to us – but does that mean that it’s all good? Barry Schwartz explores the negative side of having so many choices and what it is doing to our society.

“Psychologist Barry Schwartz takes aim at a central tenet of western societies: freedom of choice. In Schwartz’s estimation, choice has made us not freer but more paralyzed, not happier but more dissatisfied.” -YT

I found this video to be a very fascinating subject. All our lives we have it drilled into us how lucky we are because we have so many choices and can do so many things.

Who would have thought that all those freedoms could lead us to choice overload and thus unhappiness?
