“The Duchess of Cambridge spent just 12 hours in hospital when giving birth to a new baby princess who is fourth in line to the British throne.
“The world had its first glimpse of Prince William and Kate’s newborn daughter on Saturday evening (Sunday morning AEST), with the trio posing for photographers before leaving St Mary’s hospital in London.
“The royal couple and their new bub left the private Lindo Wing less than 10 hours after the duchess gave birth at 8.34am local time to a baby girl weighing 3.7kg.
“Kate, 33, had been admitted just hours earlier at 6am.”
