“The couple, both 30, opted for a traditional method to announce they are betrothed, following in the footsteps of the likes of Benedict Cumberbatch and Sophie Hunter by making an announcement in The Times newspaper.
“The note was placed in the forthcoming marriages section in the Tuesday edition of the daily paper.
“The couple, who met whilst filming Game Of Thrones and began dating in 2012, have not yet to set a date for the big day.
“Kit and Rose, who shut down engagement speculation over the summer, reportedly told their friends and family last week that they’re set to wed.”
