“Prince Harry’s marriage to Meghan Markle is doomed to fail, according to outspoken feminist Germaine Greer, who warns the Hollywood actress “will bolt” as soon as she realises what life’s really like inside the Royal Palace.
“In a candid interview with 60 Minutes ahead of the May 19 nuptials, the Australian writer said Ms Markle – who also describes herself as a feminist – had already sacrificed too much to marry the English prince, including her career and homeland.
“The 79-year-old also cautioned that the novelty of life in the Royal family would fade fast – describing the Windsors as ludicrous, fearfully controlling and frightfully boring.
““Let’s hope they’re in love. If they’re not it’s going to be totally unbearable,” Ms Greer told reporter Tara Brown during the interview.”
