“The usually sunny Los Angeles was hit with some serious showers yesterday, with organisers forced to cover the red carpet with a tarp and sweep off extra water.
“A rep for the Golden Globes told The Hollywood Reporter that the show will go on rain, hail or shine and organisers will erect a tent over the red carpet if it starts to storm again to keep celeb’s patent heels and pumps dry.
“This year’s red carpet will also feature a drone camera for the first time ever, giving fashion fans a bird’s eye view of the stars on the ruby rug.”
