“It’s taken eight seasons and almost 200 episodes but the identity of the woman who becomes Ted Mosby’s wife has been uncovered to audiences in the US during the finale of season eight, which went to air on Monday night local time.
“The episode has yet to screen in Australia.
“All audiences have known since the popular series debuted in 2005 is that the future Mrs Mosby carries a yellow umbrella and Ted meets his future bride, and mother of his two children, at a train station.
“The couple meet as he waits alone to catch a train to Farhampton in Long Island to attend his best friend Barney and his ex-girlfriend Robin’s wedding during the episode titled Something New.” – Sydney Morning Herald
