There’s a certain warmth and comfort to them that I just can’t find anywhere else. But these kinds of romcoms – and mid-budget films in general – had all but disappeared from cinemas until recently. With the rise of streaming, the mid-budget romcom seems to have found a new home. And thank goodness.”
