The war over women in the 2012 election campaign is positively nuclear with shots being fired back and forth – and a lot of damage control being done on Obama’s side of things.
According to the Christian Science Monitor:
“The White House [and Obama himself] rushed into a damage control campaign Thursday to blunt the impact of a Democratic consultant’s suggestion that Ann Romney isn’t qualified to discuss the economy because she “hasn’t worked a day in her life.””
Yeah… Because that was going to fly well with the huge numbers of stay at home moms. Not to mention the moms that are now stay at home by choice but by financial necessity because the US economy is crap.
You have to love the circus of an election year.
