I am a parent, and a politically aware one at that. I am concerned about what my child views at school (and at home for that matter) which is why I am viewing this. I believe that the message was innocent and supportive enough, however, parents and schools were not afforded the opportunity to preview a transcript of the speech prior to it occuring. For that reason alone, I think it’s reasonable for any district to record it and determine it’s appropriateness to be viewed as part of curriculum – instead of a Live feed, or not view it at all.
