Context matters.
I wasn’t going to get into this or post anything about it, but I think PewDiePie’s response to all this stuff is the best possible response.
He doesn’t claim to be a great comedian and definitely pushes boundaries, but that doesn’t mean he deserves to be accused of things that just aren’t true.
When you take things out of context, you can make any sort of message that you want to. You can make people ‘say’ anything you want them to say.
That mainstream journalists so hungry for clicks and/or against YouTubers that they would clearly do something like this just goes to show how much they are not trusted and shouldn’t be trusted.
