“Police have charged a 24-year-old school cleaner with the murder of teacher and bride-to-be Stephanie Scott.
“Vincent Stanford, who has has lived in the area for 13 months, was arrested last night and will face Griffith Local Court later today over the death of the popular English and drama teacher who was to be married on Saturday.
“Police said they had not yet found Ms Scott’s body.
““We don’t know where her body is at this time,” Griffith Local Area Commander Michael Rowan said.
“That remains a priority for us, and we have a lot of police on the ground.”
“In particular Commander Rowan said authorities were looking any information on the movements of a white Toyota Hilux space-cab 2WD with a canopy over the back travelling in Leeton or the surrounding area.”
