“Robert De Niro, who has outwardly expressed his disdain for President Trump, was the target of a suspicious package, according to the FBI.
“A delivery was sent to the building that houses the Tribeca Grill, a restaurant started by the Academy Award-winning actor and his Tribeca Film Center, police say.
“De Niro has made his aversion to Trump quite clear, admitting he’d “like to punch him in the face” and giving him multiple tongue lashings.
““At approximately 4 a.m. police received responded to a call about a suspicious package at 375 Greenwich,” Jerry Varson with the New York Police Department confirmed to USA TODAY Thursday morning.”
