“TENS of thousands of Brisbane residents have swarmed on to the city’s most iconic bridge this morning to celebrate its anniversary.
“Food, fun and river views is what’s in store for the crowd who swapped cars for joggers this morning to take part in the Story Bridge 75th anniversary celebrations.
“But getting to one of the Eat Street Markets’ 80 food vendors seems to be easier said than done.
“Crowds for the 11am session were at a standstill as the bridge looked more sideshow alley than roadway.
“Participants have shared mixed reviews of the event on social media, with many saying it’s hard to move, much less enjoy the food.”
