Here’s the parody I’ve been waiting for. Once Lady Gaga was too precious to allow Weird Al Yankovic to touch her material, but the times they are a-changing. The pop queen has relented, and Weird’s taken full advantage with his latest song, “Perform This Way.”
It’s all actually quite complimentary, except when like everyone else he’s calling her a Madonna rip off artist. Better that than crazy though, right?
This is all as deliciously over the top as any coming together of Gaga and Weird should be. Flamboyant costumes, clever lyrics, and a healthy dose of humor; what’s not to love?
