It must be every child’s dream to catch a baseball that’s hit into the crowd at a game. And adults too, I guess. Like grown women who really should know better.
This video shows the moment when a woman snatches a baseball out of the hands of a little girl who was excited at having it in her possession. Luckily the cameras caught this woman’s shame.
This woman is getting a lot of abuse online, which is fair enough I suppose. Still, it’s a little too harsh for me to also get involved, so I’ll just state what I’d like to say to her…
“Well done, you got the ball, so you savor the memento of your day out. Unfortunately you had to snatch that memento out of a little girl’s hand, and she’s probably really upset you did so. Still, you won. Good on you.”
