I must admit, before watching this video I hadn’t given balloon twisting a lot of thought. Oh sure, I thought it was cute when people made dogs and flowers for children. But it’s not exactly high art or anything, right?
Clearly I was wrong.
This video is the trailer for a documentary all about balloon twisters. These folks don’t just stick to the basics. They’re making pirates and geishas and big crazy hats.
Quite simply I’m inspired. This trailer tells me if I can make a dog I can make anything. So I’m aiming for one of those massive hats. But first things first. I’ve got to buy some balloons!
